a)      Click on the People icon from the Chats.
b)      Tap the Add People icon that is available in the top-right corner of the screen.

e)      Enter the phone number and click on save.
f)       If that person uses messenger, you will see his contact number in the messenger user listing.
g)      Click on Add on Messenger.

a)      Click on your profile picture available on the top-left corner of the screen.
b)      Click on People.
c)       Tap on the option Upload Contact that will enable your phone to upload the contacts stored on your phone automatically.
d)      Now, select the contact of a person you want to chat with. Enter your message in the text area provided.
-          You are now able to chat with that person.
5. There is also an additional feature that allows users to connect with each other using the messenger QR code. If you want to add someone on messenger using this feature, follow the steps mentioned below:
a)      Click on your Profile picture (available in the top-left corner of the screen)
b)      User code is also represented by unique lines and dots that encircle your profile picture.
c)       Open Messenger on your friend’s phone and go to People tab.
d)      On your friend’s phone, tap on the add icon and scan the code displayed on your screen.
e)      Then, your friend will be able to add you to his messenger app and after that you will be required to add your friend in your messenger app.
